LARGE crowds are expected to flock to Ballindenisk International for the top eventing action at the Co Cork venue, amid sunshine and warm temperatures for this Easter weekend over what was described as “perfect’’ ground conditions yesterday.

Belgium’s Geoffroy de Jamblinne and the Contendro I gelding Consequent Pia Z led the dressage yesterday in the CCI4*-L competition on a score of 67.99%, chased by Carlow’s Sam Watson in second with the Puissance gelding Imperial Sky (67.85%) and Britain’s Ben Hobday in third with Shadow Man (by Fidjy de Colours) (67.22%).
