Rachael Blackmore faces a short spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken nose in a fall at Limerick on Sunday.

The former champion Irish conditional jockey sustained the injury when she was brought down on Caliption at the fourth-last flight in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle.

"She's got a broken nose, nothing more than that. She's going back to the hospital on Wednesday and will have it reassessed. Everything else is fine,"; said Dr Adrian McGoldrick, senior medical officer to the Irish Turf Club.

"She'll be out for about 10 days, not very long at all."
