NEWS: No Nay Never fee jumps to €150,000
on 08 November 2019
Coolmore publishes fees for all its 2020 flat stallions, including new recruits Magna Grecia, Calyx and Ten Sovereigns

NO Nay Never has had his stud fee increased by 50% to €150,000 for next season.

His increase is the standout change in the list of stallion fees for 2020 issued by Coolmore Stud today [Monday].

By the late Scat Daddy, No Nay Never was trained by Wesley Ward and crossed the Atlantic as a juvenile in 2013 to win the Group 2 Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville. He only raced three times as three, including when winning a Grade 3 event at Keeneland and finishing a close second in the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint at Santa Anita.

No Nay Never retired to Coolmore in 2015 and his first crop made a huge impression on the track in 2018. They were headed by Group 1 Middle Park Stakes winner Ten Sovereigns, who went on to win the July Cup this year.

Arizona, Land Force, Wichita, Mystery Power and Shadn have also won stakes races for the stallion, whose fee quadrupled from €25,000 to €100,000 this year.

Coolmore will stand 23 flat stallions in Ireland next year, headed once again by Galileo, whose fee remains private.

There are three new recruits - Calyx (€22,500), Magna Grecia (€22,500) and the No Nay Never-sired Ten Sovereigns (€25,000).

Apart from No Nay Never, four other Coolmore stallions have had their fee increased. Caravaggio (by Scat Daddy) goes from €30,000 to €35,000, Footstepsinthesand rises from €10,000 to €15,000, Gleneagles moves from €30,000 to €35,000 and Starspangledbanner jumps from €17,500 to €22,500.
