THE meeting scheduled for Naas on Sunday has been postponed until Wednesday following a track inspection on Saturday afternoon which confirmed that the racing surface was frozen.

Racing on Wednesday will start at 12.50pm. Original entries for this fixture stand for all races with the exception of the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle which will revert to entries after forfeit. Fresh declarations will be made on Monday.

The meeting originally scheduled for Fairyhouse on Saturday will be run on Tuesday.

POINT-TO-POINTS

It's also a blank weekend for point-to-points. Following a track inspection at Tinahely on Saturday afternoon ahead of the Shillelagh fixture scheduled for Sunday, the track remained unfit for racing. This fixture will now take place Saturday, January 16th and the original entries stand.

The Muskerry fixture at Aghabullogue scheduled to take place on Sunday has been abandoned due to operational reasons with no plans to reschedule.

Saturday's Ballindenisk meeting was called off on Friday.
