THE Irish Draught Horse Studbook rules were amended and approved this week to enable the progeny of Class 4 animals to come forward for inspections over the next number of years.

The amended Irish Draught amnesty relates to inspections and applies from 2017 to 2021. By means of an amnesty stallions and mares, that are by a Class 4 Irish Draught stallion or are out of a Class 4 Irish Draught mare, are also deemed eligible to be presented for inspection for Classes 1, 2, and 3 in the Irish Draught Horse Studbook.
