New channel bags big foreign races

SKY Sports Racing, the new name for At The Races from next January, has secured the rights to broadcast the Breeders’ Cup and Melbourne Cup live exclusively in Britain and Ireland. The Breeders’ Cup deal covers the next three editions of the meeting while the Melbourne Cup deal was described as “longterm”.
