Horse Sport Ireland’s CEO Ronan Murphy commented: “Equestrian Interschools Ireland plays an integral role in promoting the sport to the younger generation. Encouraging students to compete at a young age, especially as part of a team representing their school, gives them a sense of pride, belonging and respect. Equestrian Interschools Ireland’s success is evident in the amount of graduates from Interschools that are still competing as well as developing their skills and talents in the sport long after their school days. Numerous international riders competing for Team Ireland today came through the Equestrian Interschools circuit and used it as a stepping stone on their road to success.”
