HORSE Sport Ireland has submitted a comprehensive plan to Government which effectively paves the way for the inclusion of equestrian activitiy in the first wave of the lifting of the Covid-19 restrictions.

Much of the €816 million Irish Sport Horse industry – which supports over 14,000 full-time jobs nationwide – has been virtually paralysed by the near lockdown measures for the last six weeks, with the exception of the breeding arm of the sector which has been allowed continue.
