COSTS and damages in the High Court case involving Chris Gordon and the Irish Racehorse Trainers Association [IRTA] are conservatively estimated to be in excess of €1.5 million.

On Wednesday, after a 27-day trial, the jury found unanimously in favour of Chris Gordon, who had accused the IRTA of running “and orchestrated and severe campaign” against the good name of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board’s [IHRB] head of security.
