Casamento is set to stand at Sunnyhill Stud in 2019

It has been announced that Sunnyhill Stud, Co Kildare have secured Casamento (Shamardal) for the upcoming season. He is a half-brother to the Wana Doo (the dam of Torando).

The Darley-owned stallion stood at Kildangan Stud before moving to Dalham Hall Stud and spent last season in Sweden.

His oldest crop are four-year-olds (three crops of racing age), with one of his most successful progeny being the Gavin Cromwell-trained Princess Yaiza.

Casamento has also produced some jumps winners such as; Alright Sunshine (Keith Dagleish), City Dreamer (Alan King) and Bournville (Karl Burke).

Casamento is set to join the roster at Sunnyhill Stud alongside Lucky Speed and Doyen.
