GOFFS will be the only auction house in the world to offer foals by Galileo this year.

A trio by the prolific champion sire headline the catalogue for the Goffs November Sale which has just been published online.

There are 1,110 foals catalogued for the five-day sale which has a new format this year. Part 1 of the sale will begin on Monday, November 20th with what were traditionally ‘Day 3’ foals, building to a climax on Wednesday, November 22nd when the top tier foals will be offered.

Part 2 of the foal sale will take place on Saturday and Sunday, November 25th and 26th with the breeding stock sale taking place on the Thursday and Friday in between. All foals are catalogued together with a separate catalogue for breeding stock.

Galileo’s three foals will be offered by The Castlebridge Consignment and include an own-sister to Group 1 winner Johannes Vermeer, who finished a head second in the Group 1 Ladbrokes Stakes at Caulfield last weekend and was due to run in the Caulfield Cup in the early hours of this morning.

This foal is also a full-sibling to Elizabeth Browning, winner of the Group 2 Kilboy Estates Stakes at the Curragh this year.
