Dixie Bluebell began her career with an encouraging sixth in a 6f maiden won by St Mark’s Basilica at the Curragh last weekend. Beaten by just over 4½l, she shaped better than the final result. The benefit of that initial run and this slight drop in trip should aid her cause and she could cope with slow ground.
