This is a good maiden that brings together some nice pieces of form. The Joseph O’Brien-trained top two both ran well in good maidens first time out, but maybe not as well as Southern Hills did when given a tall task of taking on the Listed Marble Hill Stakes on his debut. The Gleneagles colt, although eased and well beaten, showed up quite well, travelling nicely until running wayward when push came to shove.
