NAAS Racecourse will not only be the first racecourse to stage racing after the 11-week stoppage next Monday but it will also host a fixture televised on RTÉ on Saturday, June 20th.

Among the race sponsors supporting Naas is Plusvital. The industry nutrition experts will sponsor the Plusvital Irish EBF Polonia Stakes.

A family-owned business formed in 1975, Plusvital has been sponsoring races for many years and this the first time they have sponsored at Naas. The company’s general manager Ciara Watt said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Naas Racecourse and all our customers for their support over the last few months and wish everyone in the industry the very best of luck for the remainder of the season.’’

Other new sponsors to Naas include Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital and Compas Stallions, who will sponsor the Woodlands Stakes and Committed Stakes on Monday.

Naas Racecourse manager Eamonn McEvoy said: “We are delighted to have Plusvital on board and we also welcome Anglesey Lodge Equine Hospital and Compas Stallions as sponsors. Clinton Higgins Chartered Accountants and Sobac Soil have also increased their sponsorship budget during this testing time. They are all a credit to our great industry.”
