After three qualifying sections, of which they won two and placed second in the other, club members filled the first three places in the advanced primary ride-off. They were led by Aine Bradley and her six-year-old skewbald gelding Archibald Wells who scored 71.05%. Brenda Moriarty was next best with Glenowen Eagle Star (68.16) while Carolann Sweeney O’Sullivan finished third on Make Mine A Smirnoff (67.37).

In Sunday’s Prix Caprilli, Moriarty and her 11-year-old Actinium gelding Glenowen Star also doubled up on their win of last year on a score of 76.25 with Sweeney O’Sullivan this time placing second on 73.75 with Make Mine A Smirnoff, a 15-year-old piebald gelding.
