MULLINGAR INTERNATIONAL: Broderick wins Mullingar Grand Prix CSI2*

Gradje O delivered the Mullingar International Grand Prix CSI2* win for Greg Broderick and owner Steven Smith

TIPPERARY's Greg Broderick and the Steven Smith-owned gelding Gradje O enjoyed a commanding win in today’s (Monday) two-star Grand Prix at Mullingar International Horse Show.

Just six of the 53 starters made it into the jump-off and Rio Olympian Broderick claimed victory by a full four seconds at the finish – the fastest of four double clear rounds.

Jason Higgins took the runner-up spot with Rincoola Milsean, while British visitor Alicia Page finished in third place with Diacento.

Greg Broderick completed an excellent afternoon by also taking fourth spot aboard Coolivio PS. Derek McConnell finished fifth with Dothraki Warlord while Jenny Rankin, IRL completed the top six with Carmela Z .

2) Jason Higgins, IRL – Rincoola Milsean 0-0/44.84

3) Alicia Page, GBR – Diacento 0-0/45.09

6) Jenny Rankin, IRL – Carmela Z 0-21/56.75
