WILLIE Mullins fields three of the 10 runners in Saturday’s Prix Alain du Breil at Auteuil, with Triumph Hurdle runner-up Mr Adjudicator heading up the trio.

Already a Grade 1 winner having claimed the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown in February when beating Farclas, he came off second best behind that same Gordon Elliott-trained rival at Cheltenham.

Mr Adjudicator then ran another solid race at Punchestown when second to stablemate Saldier, who has not made the journey.

He will be joined by Closutton stablemates Msassa and Saglawy, both owned by Jared Sullivan, in the Grade 1 for four-year-olds, which is worth almost £100,000 to the winner.

“Mr Adjudicator only started his season at Christmas, so he should be able to hold his form,” said Patrick Mullins, assistant trainer to his father.

“He brings the best English and Irish form over to France so he should have a good chance.

“It’s fabulous prize money and that is why we support this meeting so much.

“The other two have been getting better with every run and ran reasonably well at Punchestown.

“If they can take that form to Auteuil, then should be able to pick up some good money.”
