WHAT a huge pity that the entry at last week’s Millstreet International was so badly impacted by Covid-19 and Brexit as the Duggan family’s Co Cork venue, most particularly its cross-country area in the grounds of Drishane Castle, was seen at its best.

There was universal praise for the tracks and fences designed by Mike Etherington-Smith and ditto for the craftsmanship involved in building the fences which were described by many as works of art – even before all the floral decorations were added.
