HAVING put their young event horses by for the season, Neill McCluskey and John Carlisle have turned to the thoroughbred world and, in particular, the National Hunt sale in Tattersalls where they are selling a Mahler yearling (Lot 215) on Monday next, November 10th.

Consigned on behalf of the owners by Callie Berry, the chesnut gelding is out of the Overbury mare Auntie Bob, the dam of two Beat All winners in Dani California and Beatu. The latter, a five-year-old, won a Catterick bumper in December last year on his second racecourse start for Stuart Crawford after which he was sold at Brightwells’ Cheltenham sale in January to Donald McCain.
