Peter McCarthy (Kildare) won the under-17 World Individual title while Craig O’Connor (Waterford) and Jake O’Connor (Kildare) claimed the reserve title and fourth place respectively in the open final. Daragh Carolan (Laois) claimed the under-12 reserve championship.

MGA Ireland has 84 playing members compared to 3,000 in Britian and 2,500 in France. The Chepstow success is the latest success for MGA Ireland members who continue to punch well above their weight at the international competitions. In 2013 Ireland hosted the European Championships at Tatterstalls, Rathoath, Co Meath where the home under-17 team won the European Crown and Alan Keoghan claimed the open individual title.
