WHILE the traffic of winning pointers usually goes from Ireland to England, Village Mystic travelled in the opposition direction last spring and made a big impression when winning the bumper at Leopardstown on Sunday on his Irish and track debut.

The French-bred five-year-old, a son of Saints Des Saints, won his maiden first time up at Milborne St Andrew on February 1st 2015 when he was sent off 4/6 favourite to oblige in the hands of Sam Drinkwater.
