THE Doran family bred three winners in the period under review starting at Sedgefield last Thursday week when the Keith Dalgleish-trained I’m To Blame landed the concluding two-mile, one-furlong maiden hurdle at odds of 2/5, bringing up a double for Brian Hughes in the process.

One of many winners in the same time frame by the deceased Winged Love, I’m To Blame was bred by Jane Doran out of the unraced Swap Shop. That Lord Americo mare, who also bred the bumper and hurdle winner Showem Silver (by Winged Love), is a half-sister to the Zaffaran gelding Aran Concerto whose six victories included two Grade 1 hurdle races and one Grade 1 chase.
