NEXT Saturday’s point-to-point outside Portrush is being run by the Route Hunt whose country obviously doesn’t cover many racing yards as just four Route hunter certificates had been registered for horses at the Offices of the Governing Bodies by Wednesday.

Three of the four, Briggitie’s Hill, Milan Flyer and Murphs Legend, are in training with Gary McGill while the fourth, Jet Ranger, is in the care of Danny Scullion who partnered Tilly Conway’s home-bred six-year-old Bushranger gelding in three outings last season, faring best when third in a novice riders’ maiden at Largy.
