THERE was a massive entry for the Saintfield Horse Show held last Saturday at trainer George Stewart’s Danescroft Equestrian Centre in Lisburn where live music by Country Harmony added to the atmosphere as did the weather.

While show director Joan Cunningham was disappointed that George had once again avoided the limelight by handing over his judging duties for the racehorse to riding horse class to fellow trainer Suzy Barkley of the Irish and British Thoroughbred Agency, she couldn’t otherwise fault his commitment to the show.
