MARALIN trainer Lee Smyth provided Martin Harley with the first leg of a treble at Wolverhampton on Monday when Ty Rock Brandy justified favouritism in the opening five-furlong handicap.

This was a second career success for the three-year-old Dandy Man filly who is owned in partnership by Tam Heatrick, in whose colours she runs, and Tandragee’s Davy Laverty who bred the bay out of the Royal Applause mare Britain’s Pride.
