MANY congratulations to manager Richard Lyttle and his team at Downpatrick following the racecourse’s success as sports venue of the year at Monday’s Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards in the Crowne Plaza, Belfast.

A large number of awards were presented, with Downpatrick seeing off nine rivals such as Down Royal Racecourse, Kingspan Stadium and last year’s winner, Donegal Celtic Park.
