IT’s been quiet on the local racehorse to riding horse scene recently but the Neil Morrison-partnered Just For Gerry jumped clear at Castlewellan to qualify for the Horserail All-Ireland thoroughbred horse working hunter series final at Iverk Show late next month.
Owned by Ros Allen, the seven-year-old Definite Article gelding pulled up in his two point-to-points last autumn but seems to be enjoining his second career more and has competed in three novice classes under Eventing Ireland rules and is due to start in another today at Tullylish.
