THE 2016/17 point-to-point campaign commences this weekend with the Mid-Antrims running at their autumn venue of Toomebridge this afternoon and the Westmeath Foxhounds kicking off the eastern region season tomorrow at Castletown-Geoghegan.

There are 17 entries in the opening four-year-old maiden at Toome, seven of whom are also among the 25 listed in the equivalent race on Sunday.
