IT was great to see the David Brown-trained Make Good win at Doncaster last Thursday week on his second start as the Fast Company colt was bred by Ivan and Eileen Heanen of whom we have heard little of late.
The two-year-old had made his debut at the same track earlier in the month but dwelt at the start on that occasion and finished last of the 13 runners. He was subsequently a 33/1 shot when taking on seven opponents last week but couldn’t have been more impressive, being prominent throughout, hitting the front inside the last before going away to score by two and a half lengths.
