THE British teams taking on their Irish counterparts in the Anglo Irish challenge at Kingston Blount on Friday, May 26th were announced on Thursday and will be spearheaded by the reigning men’s and ladies’ champions, Will Biddick and Gina Andrews.

Andrews moved on to the 22-win mark for the season when recording a five-timer at Mollington on Monday and looks set to claim the ladies’ title for a fourth time. She will be backed up by Bryony Frost, winner of the Foxhunters’ Chase at Cheltenham on the Paul Nicholls-trained Pacha du Polder, Claire Hardwick, who was runner-up in last season’s lady riders’ championship, and wildcard choice Tabitha Worsley who is enjoying her best season to date with nine wins on the board.
