WHILE the West Waterfords’ hounds are kennelled in Knockanore, well inside the county border, the pack has held their autumn point-to-point at Boulta in Co Cork since their first early season fixture on Sunday, November 3rd, 2002.

That day, there were 10 races and it was lucky that the winners of two, won by Davy Russell on Euro Changeover, and the older mares’ maiden, won by Mikey O’Connor with Teracurra Beauty, didn’t divide as well with 17 and 18 runners respectively.
