A HUGELY successful season for Loughanmore graduates continued in the period under review with Ballypoint wining at Ffos Las last Thursday and Ballywilliam obliging at Uttoxeter on Saturday.
The Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Ballypoint, who won a two and a half mile maiden hurdle at odds of 1/4 on his fifth start over timber, never actually ran for the team of Wilson Dennison and Colin McKeever, being sold before starting in a point-to-point. The five-year-old Mahler gelding was bred by Sally Cox out of an Un Desperado half-sister to Aces Four (Fourstars Allstar) and Ocras Mor (Old Vic).
