IT was a good day for northern-trained horses at Loughbrickland on Saturday as they took home all six of the prizes on offer.

The winning spree was kickstarted in the opener by the Graham McKeever-trained and owned Ballyhawkish. The son of Kayf Tara was given a patient ride by Pa King before taking up the running on the turn for home. He ran out a comfortable two-and-a-half-length winner from the Warren Ewing-trained Git Maker.
