THE Galway Plate runner-up, Easy Game, helped Willie Mullins make a whirlwind start to the Harvest Festival as he headed a treble for the champion trainer in the Kerry Group Chase.

Only three horses went to post for the day’s two-and-a-half-mile feature but all three were rated higher than 160 which made this a quality affair, although the race lost considerable interest when The Storyteller was pulled up with a circuit to run. This left the Paul Townend-ridden Easy Game (6/4) with just Ballyoisin for company and the Nick Peacock-owned winner took the measure of the evens favourite at the last to prevail by three and a half lengths.
