AFTER landing the race twice as a rider, Joseph O’Brien trained the winner of the valuable Irish Stallion Farms EBF Premier Nursery for the first time as the Wayne Lordan-ridden Franklin Street came out on top. The David Forecast and Philip Antonacci-owned son of No Nay Never came here off an encouraging second at Bellewstown and progressed from that in gritty style as he got on top inside the last furlong to account for the Killarney scorer Troop Commander by half a length.

“He improved from his last run and he’s a grand, straightforward horse who got through the ground well. He’s a tough and honest horse,” reported the rider.
