Corps Des Pages made a promising debut in a good Leopardstown maiden (won by O’Reilly) and could be tough to beat with that experience banked. Paddy Towmey’s colt got a bit upset in the stalls before racing keenly through the early stages but he showed a good attitude to get himself into contention and then hold off his nearest pursuer when challenged for third.
