TRAINER Jessica Harrington and stable jockey Shane Foley were the main winners at Limerick on Friday as the pair combined to record a double with fillies Ha’penny Bridge and Morpho Blue. Ha’penny Bridge began the feat by winning the second race, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction, when making all for a two lengths win over Princess Mayson. Ha’penny Bridge, a daughter of Tamayuz, was well supported from 7/1 in the morning before being returned a 9/2 chance.

Trainer Harrington wasn’t present but her daughter Kate later said “she was very green the first day and came on a good bit. There is still improvement to come as she didn’t know what to do coming down the hill but once he gave her a squeeze she picked up well,” further reflected Kate Harrington on the performance of the 9/2 victor. “We’ll look for a winners’ race next.”
