LETTER TO EDITOR: Bertram says thanks!
on 11 May 2018
Top international show jumper Bertram Allen put pen to paper this week thanking everyone for their support for the Punchestown Kidney Research Fund

Bertram says thanks!

I WOULD like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to The Punchestown Kidney Research Fund, we have now raised almost €37,000!

My inspiration to ride in the race came from its organiser James Nolan (Kilcullen) who, apart from being one of Ireland’s best butchers, does an unbelievable job raising much needed funds for the Punchestown Kidney Research Fund.

I was helped and motivated at every turn by the incredibly talented Brendan McArdle who gave his brother a kidney and with it the Gift of Life.

I would also like to thank Kirsty McCann from Connolly’s Red Mills for organising me on the day, Robert Power, Gordon Elliott and my family.

Lastly if I could encourage you to carry a donor card also that would be great!

Yours etc

Bertram Allen
