Learn how to pinhook from the experts

YOUNG racing and breeding enthusiasts are invited attend an evening in the Goffs Pavilion at 6.30pm on Tuesday week, November 1st.

Organised by the ITBA Next Generation, the event will focus on the art of pinhooking and guests will include Vikki Hancock (ANZ Racing & Bloodstock editor), John Hanly (veterinary surgeon at Fethard Equine Hospital), Timmy Hillman (Castledillon Stud and Tattersalls Ireland) and Guy O’Callaghan (Grangemore Stud).

MC for the evening will be Bernard Condren of Goffs UK. Free to attend, the event promises to offer an opportunity to network. Light refreshments will be available from 6.30pm and the panel discussion will start at 7pm. Pre-registration is required by emailing NextGen@itba.ie

ITBA Next Generation aims to provide a platform for young people, with an interest in racing and breeding, to network and learn more about the industry. The new committee, chaired by Orla Donworth of Goffs, includes Conor Wixted, Leanne O’Sullivan, Padraic Gahan, Michelle Fogarty, David Skelly, Luke Bleahen, Joan Tyner, Chris Farrell, Clare Manning, Robert O’Callaghan and Taragh Brady.
