Entries for the eight Grade 1 races at Leopardstown's Dublin Racing Festival, Saturday February 4th and Sunday February 5th, have been announced and include the chasing stars of Galopin Des Champs, Conflated and Energumene. State Man, Honeysuckle and Facile Vega are amoungst the leading hurdlers due to make an appearance.

Paddy Power Gold Cup

The Willie Mullins-trained Galopin Des Champs and Gordon Elliott's Conflated both top the 11 entries for the Paddy Power Gold Cup, the feature on the opening afternoon. Both horses have scored at the highest level already this season and Conflated is back to defend his 2022 title.

Elliott also runs Fury Road whilst Chacun Pour Soi, Kemboy, Royal Rendezvous and Franco De Port may also fly the Closutton flag.

Envoi Allen is in the mix to give Henry de Bromhead his first win in the Paddy Power Irish Gold Cup while Ted Walsh's Any Second Now and Peter Fahey's The Big Dog complete the line up.

Grade 1 Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle

Honeysuckle seeks a fourth straight win in this race, a feat only achieved by Istabraq and Hurricane Fly in the past.

She will face eight competitors and Willie Mullins dominates the entries with over half the field, lining up State Man, Vauban, Sharjah, Sir Gerhard and Echoes In Rain. Gordon Elliott has entered both Zanahiyr and Pied Piper with the Tom Mullins-trained Takarengo completing the initial field.

Nathaniel Lacy & Partners Solicitors ‘€50,000 Cheltenham Bonus For Stable Staff’ Novice Hurdle

This is the first of the weekend’s Grade 1 races and has attracted a field of 18 horses headed by Hiddenvalley Lake, unbeaten in two starts for Henry de Bromhead, and the Gordon Elliott-trained Favori De Champdou, the winner of his last three starts.

Elliott’s Irish Point and American Mike also feature along with the Mullins-trained Grangeclare West and Quais De Paris.

Nigel Twiston-Davies is an English raider and plans on bringing over Weveallbeencaught.

Grade 1 Spring Juvenile Hurdle

The unbeaten Lossiemouth and Gala Marceau from the Willie Mullins stable and Joseph O'Brien’s Comfort Zone head the 15 entries for this race.

Grade 1 Goffs Irish Arkle Novice Chase

Mullins puts forward Appreciate It, El Fabiolo, Saint Roi and Dysart Dynamo to make up a quarter of the 12-horse field. Other notable entries include the O'Brien-trained Banbridge and Gordon Elliott’s Fil Dor.

The Grade 1 Ladbrokes Novice Chase

The race has attracted a bumper entry of 27 horses with Gaillard Du Mesnil, trained by Willie Mullins, Mighty Potter and Gerri Colombe from the Gordon Elliott stable, Mouse Morris’ Gentlemansgame and Henry de Bromhead’s Journey With Me chief among them.

Ladbrokes Dublin Chase

Willie Mullins will be long odds-on to continue his domination of the Ladbrokes Dublin Chase as his four entries in the latest renewal include Energumene, Blue Lord and Chacun Pour Soi, who is bidding for a fourth-straight win in this race. Sceau Royal has been entered by Alan King while the Pat Fahy-trained Dunvegan could well take his chance.

Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle

Facile Vega and his stable companions Gaelic Warrior and Hunters Yarn top the 17 entries for this race and all campaign for the Champion trainer. A winner at the first time of asking over hurdles at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, High Definition has been entered by Joseph O'Brien while American Mike, Amir Kabir and Imagine are there for Gordon Elliott.
