A €75,000 yearling filly by Le Havre was the standout offering on a generally low key day’s trade as the Goffs February Sale began its three day run today.

A large part of the session, which also featured two-year-olds and horses in training, was given over to yearlings and demand in this category mirrored the trends seen at the foal sales during the winter with quite a few of those to come under the hammer failing to sell and the overall clearance rate for the day came in at 58%.
