A FULL turnout of students and a large attendance of guests were at the CAFRE (College of Agriculture, Food & Rural Enterprise) Enniskillen campus on Wednesday for the college’s annual careers day. There was a very full itinerary, culminating in a seminar in the afternoon chaired by The Irish Field’s managing editor Leo Powell.

The day started with mock interviews and a tour of the equine facilities and there was a short break for lunch. The careers exhibition was well attended, with students getting an opportunity to speak to a wide variety of industry leaders and professionals. Their hunger for information was wonderful and all sectors of the industry, both thoroughbred and sport horse, were represented.
