Despite Swail being out injured for the latter months of 2013, he and the Dutch Warmblood stallion had already amassed 1,355 points for the year. It was enough to push the pair into the top 10 horse-and-rider combinations in the world and the best of all Irish combinations.

The 11-year-old Lansdowne is owned by Susan and Ariel Grange and his points tally with Swail included Nations Cup appearances, as well as numerous wins and top five placings in other international classes.
