After a difficult few weeks in finding winners, the final two days of the Galway Festival brought better luck for out tipsters with no less than 13 winning selections.

Moving to the top of the table is ATR’s Gary O’Brien who overtakes Ron McKnight as his selection of the Tony Martin-trained Dollar And A Dream (7/2) as his nap of the weekend paid diviendes.

Also among the best-priced naps of the weekend was Ray Glennon who went with Waipu Cove also at 7/2 from the Ger Lyons stable who scored in easy fashion on Saturday.

English raider Baraweez’s second win in the big Sunday handicap rewarded Brian Flanagan, Peter O’Hehir and Alan Sweetman. Dermot Weld was odds-on to produce the goods and First Figaro was the selection of Alan Magee, Donal Murphy and John O’Riordan at odds of 10/11. Following Tony Martin was one of the best bets of the week and Whatsforuwontgobyu was successful for Billy Nash and Kevin Murphy at 5/4. Johnny Ward played safe with the Aidan O’Brien-trained Tigris River at 1/1.

Half-way through the season, Gary O’Brien tops of the table with 13 winning selections and a profit of €26.65 for his euro stake. Ron McKnight holds on to second from the Weekender’s Cathal Gahan while Ray Glennon and Peter O'Hehir overtakes Shane Redmond to move up a place. ATR's Kevin O’Ryan slips into the red while Brian Fleming moves into the black with Baraweez justifying his support. Anthem Alexander is one of the most popular selections of this weekend along with Guitar Pete.
