THE fourth Keeneland Korea Cup (local Group 1) saw a fine run by a British challenger, David Egan’s mount Ambassadorial, owned and trained by Newmarket trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam. He took third place in the nine-furlong contest, behind Moonhak Chief, a Kentucky-bred, four-year-old son of Pioneerof the Nile.

The race featured not only top local horse Dolkong, a breakthrough star for Korea during the Dubai World Cup Carnival, but US invaders Lone Sailor and Harvey Wallbanger and Hong Kong’s Glorious Artist.
