THE classy Raven’s Cry looks set to step into the big time as Paddy Twomey’s charge followed up her Galway Festival victory with a commanding display in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race. The Emma Kennedy-owned filly was an 8/11 shot to account for the other previous winner in the line up, Baby Zeus, and she did so in style under Billy Lee to prevail by three and a quarter lengths.

“She’s a nice filly with good entries and she’ll tell us where to go next but the aim would be blacktype now,” stated Twomey. “She does hold an entry in the Moyglare but there is also the Ingabelle at Leopardstown the previous day and the May Hill at Doncaster so it might be one of those two next.”
