THERE were tight results in the underage classes starting in the EI110 (J) where, in spite of adding six cross-country time penalties to her winning dressage score (32), Ruth Burke just held on to win with SRS Mini Vendi.

This was a second start of the season for Burke and her father Michael’s nine-year-old Ars Vivendi mare on whom she was reserve in the EI100 (J) National Championship here at Kilguilkey House last September. On her second start at this level, Laura Archdeacon finished second with her new ride for 2020, Hacketts Cross (38.8).
