A CARD that offered several realistic chances for Gordon Elliott yielded a one-two for the trainer in the Joe Cooney Memorial Hurdle where Westland Row (7/2) followed up his beginners’ chase victory at this track last month.

The Caren Walsh and John Doyle-owned gelding jumped a little big early on for Denis O’Regan but was going notably well in the closing stages and picked off stablemate Tombstone at the final flight for a comfortable three-and-a-quarter-length triumph.
