KEENELAND’S September Yearling Sale resumed Wednesday, the first session of the two-day Book 2 catalogue. There was a notable input from overseas purchasers over the two days, with most of the leading lots selling in the opening session. However, the top price of $1 million was paid by Peter Leidel for a colt by the in-demand Into Mischief towards the end of the second day.

Over the first four days, 589 yearlings grossed $160,583,000 for an average of $272,637 and a median of $200,000.
