Intricately could have a prep run ahead of the Qipco 1000 Guineas, according to trainer Joseph O'Brien.

The daughter of Fastnet Rock marked herself as a possible classic contender when winning the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh last September but then finished well down the field when sent to America for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies' Turf last November.

Intricately is as low as 14/1 with William Hill to strike classic gold at Newmarket on May 7th and O'Brien may look for a suitable warm-up run.

He told his Boylesports blog: "It's five weeks until the Guineas and Intricately will probably have a run out before that.

"It's something we don't have to look at just yet but we'll see what things are like in the next three weeks and go from there."
